Blast 5km Series @ The Meadows
The Blast 5km Series @ The Meadows is a recurring mid-week running event held in the heart of Edinburgh. The series takes place on a flat and fast course within the public parkland of The Meadows. The route is officially measured and licensed, with results submitted to both the Run Britain Rankings and Scottish Athletics.
The event is open to participants of various experience levels, including children over the age of 11. Registration is available on the day of the race between 12:00 and 12:30, with both cash and card payments accepted. The entry fee includes a contribution to local charities, with a small additional insurance levy required for those who are not members of Scottish Athletics.

The race village is located near the East Meadows Play Park on Melville Drive. While the standard entry covers the timed race, a finisher's medal is available for an extra fee. Prizes are awarded to the first male and female finishers across all age categories for those who enter online.
