Event
The Edinburgh 5K is a monthly lunchtime series held in The Meadows, Edinburgh. The event uses a flat, fast, officially measured and licensed 5K course that passes through the Middle Meadow Walk. The series runs on Tuesdays from 11 November 2025 to 20 January 2026 and is organised by Blast Running. The event supports The Athletics Trust Scotland; the organiser donates £1 per runner and reports having raised over £734 for local organisations since the start of 2025. The maximum attendee capacity is 250.
Entry and logistics
Entry is listed as £7 standard and £9 for non-members. A £2 insurance levy applies to non-Scottish Athletics members. Children aged 11 and over may take part. Online entries include prizes for first male and first female in each age category. An optional finisher's medal is available for an additional £5. Results are submitted to Run Britain Rankings.
