The Me Awesome Run

The Me Awesome Run is an inaugural event offering in person and virtual 5K and 10K run and walk options from May 17 to May 24, 2026. The in person location is Hellyer County Park, 985 Hellyer Avenue, San Jose, CA 95111. Virtual participants may choose their own route and time.

Registration for the listed race options opens March 29, 2026 and closes May 15, 2026. Entry fees listed for race options are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. The event description notes strollers are welcome and grandparents are encouraged to attend.

The event is organized to raise funds for families affected by Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a rare pediatric brain tumor.
