The Mary Ruchalski Foundation 5K & Fun Run
The Mary Ruchalski Foundation 5K & Fun Run is a community running event held in April at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York. The event raises funds for pediatric cancer research and to support families impacted by pediatric cancer; proceeds benefit The Mary Ruchalski Foundation.

Event amenities include finish-line photos, bottled water, live online/text/email results, raffles, and eligibility for a $100 AMEX gift card drawing for registered participants. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K, and age-group medals are awarded for first place male and female in these categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Bib pick-up is available onsite before the event and virtual bibs are shipped to participants who choose the virtual option. Registrations made at least three weeks before the event may receive a personalized race number; participants registering close to the event can use bib lookup tools provided by event staff.
