The Mary Ruchalski Foundation 5K & Fun Run
The Mary Ruchalski Foundation 5K & Fun Run takes place in April at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York. The event raises funds for pediatric cancer research and provides support for families impacted by pediatric cancer through proceeds donated to the foundation.

Timing services and participant amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish-line photos and video, finish photos, bottled water, and raffles. All registered participants are eligible for a random prize drawing for a $100 AMEX gift card.
Overall awards are given to the top male and female finishers, who receive trophies. Age group medals are awarded to the top male and female in each of these divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
In-person bib pickup is available at the event site on race day, with a self-lookup area for bib numbers. Virtual entries receive bibs by mail; shipping windows span approximately one week before to one week after the event.
