About the race
The Mary Ruchalski Foundation 5K & Fun Run is a charity running event held at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York. Proceeds support The Mary Ruchalski Foundation, which funds pediatric cancer research and provides support to families affected by pediatric cancer. Registration is not yet open.

Amenities listed for participants include finish line photos, bottled water, live online/text/email results, raffles, and eligibility for a $100 AMEX gift card drawing for registered participants. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers, and age-group medals are awarded to the top male and female in each age division: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Bib pickup is available in person and via shipped bibs for virtual participants. The course takes place within Eisenhower Park, a large public park in Nassau County, and the course is noted as USATF certified.
