The Mane Glow 5K
The Mane Glow 5K is an evening 5K held on November 14, 2026 at Piedmont University near the Mize Athletic Center, 280 Laurel Ave, Demorest GA. The event features glow in the dark elements including glow powder stations and black lights, plus music stations located along the course to create a neon themed atmosphere for participants.
The course follows a nighttime route across Piedmont University campus and includes a variety of surfaces and features such as asphalt pathways and roads, grass sections, a wooden bridge, and areas with rocks or stairs. Participants should exercise caution on sections with uneven terrain.
Event logistics note that check in and packet pickup are available before the start, all required waivers must be completed prior to check in, and a valid photo ID may be requested. Free parking is listed for the Mize Parking Lot and the Commons Parking Lot. Race materials are distributed after registration and waiver requirements are met. After the run there is on site music and a finish line celebration with photo opportunities.
