2026 Shamrock'n Weekend
Shamrock'n Weekend is a two day running event presented by Fleet Feet Sacramento at Sutter Health Park, 400 Ballpark Dr, West Sacramento, CA. It is described as the Official Race of Cancer Survivorship and uses the subtitle Sacramento's Luckiest Race Weekend.
The program includes these race options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Kids' Leprechaun Dash one half mile
The weekend features live music on course, an on field finish, post race food and beer, and encouragement of costumes. Participants who run a Saturday event plus the Sunday half marathon receive a third Doubleheader medal and a commemorative Doubleheader tech shirt. Each Kids' Leprechaun Dash participant receives a commemorative Shamrock'n baseball.
An official Shamrock'n training program runs January 5 through March 15 with Fleet Feet Training. The program offers coaching, a daily training plan, and in person or virtual options; it also lists race weekend VIP perks including a Legacy Club hospitality suite party.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet, 2311 J Street on March 11, 12 and 13, with additional pickup at Fleet Feet on March 14 and race day pickup at Sutter Health Park for select events. The event notes a course time limit of four hours. All entry fees are non refundable and entries are non transferable.
