2027 Shamrock'n Weekend
The 2027 Shamrock'n Weekend takes place in West Sacramento at 400 Ballpark Dr and is presented by Fleet Feet Sacramento. The event is promoted as the Official Race of Cancer Survivorship and includes fundraising activity for the Triumph Cancer Foundation.
Race options across the weekend include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles; minimum age 15)
- Kids' Leprechaun Dash (1/2 mile; 12 and under only)
The weekend features live music, themed costumes, and on field finishes for several races. Post-race offerings noted for the event include food and beer. Adaptive and wheelchair starts are included in the schedule. Participants who run a Saturday distance plus the half marathon on Sunday receive a Doubleheader medal and a commemorative Doubleheader tech shirt.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet (2311 J Street) on the days prior to the race and at Sutter Health Park during the race weekend. The course has a time limit of four hours from the start of the final wave and roads reopen after the limit. The event follows a cancellation policy that marks all entries non-refundable and non-transferable with no exceptions.
