2027 Shamrock'n Weekend : West Sacramento, CA
Shamrock'n Weekend is a two-day running event held at 400 Ballpark Dr in West Sacramento on March 13 and March 14, 2027. The event is presented as The Official Race of Cancer Survivorship and lists the Triumph Cancer Foundation as a fundraising organization with funds raised and a stated goal.
Racing options over the weekend include the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Kids' Leprechaun Dash 1/2 mile
Saturday features the 5K, 10K and the Kids' Leprechaun Dash. Sunday features the half marathon. Participants who run a Saturday distance plus the half marathon receive a third Doubleheader medal and a commemorative Doubleheader tech shirt. The half marathon has a stated minimum age of 15.
Event amenities and on-course elements noted for the weekend include live music, themed costumes, finishes on the field, and post-race beer and food. Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet, 2311 J Street, on the days before the races and at Sutter Health Park on the race weekend. A Fleet Feet training program is offered with a 10 week plan and both in-person and virtual options, including listed VIP perks.
