2027 Shamrock'n Weekend
The Shamrock'n Weekend takes place in West Sacramento on March 13 and 14, 2027 and is presented by Fleet Feet Sacramento. The event is described as the Official Race of Cancer Survivorship and includes multiple run distances across two days, live music on course sections, on-field finishes, and post-race food and beer options.
Race options include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Kids' Leprechaun Dash (1/2 mile)
The weekend offers doubleheader options that pair a Saturday distance with the Half Marathon on Sunday; participants who complete both receive an additional Doubleheader medal and a commemorative Doubleheader tech shirt. The Half Marathon has a minimum participant age of 15 and a course time limit of four hours from the final wave start; roads reopen to traffic after the time limit.
A Fleet Feet Shamrock'n training program is available with a 10 week coaching plan and in-person or virtual options, including race weekend VIP perks. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet on the days before race weekend and at Sutter Health Park during the event weekend. Fundraising for Triumph Cancer Foundation is associated with the event; fundraising totals shown are $112.44 raised toward a $30,000 goal.
