Event overview
The Lucky Run takes place on March 15, 2026 at Morais Vineyards in Bealeton, VA (11409 Marsh Rd). The event includes the following distances:

- 5k
Points from the event count toward the 5k Series, the Back of the Pack Series, and the Sippin Series. Walkers are welcome. A virtual race option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person.
Course, services and logistics
The course is a loop run in laps (two laps for the 2k, five laps for the 5k). The route is on concrete for the majority of the course and is described as fairly flat with one small incline. Water stations are provided: two stations on the 2k (near 0.4 and 0.8 miles) and seven stations on the 5k (near 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, and 2.8 miles); Gatorade will be available at some stations.
Registered runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-FIT) event shirt, and chip timing. Live results will be posted online with a QR code at the race; final results with series points will be posted on the Monday after the event. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, plus 1st and 2nd place male and female in these age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Runners top 3 overall are not eligible to also win their age group.
Packet pickup is available at the event. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before March 4. Registration fees: 2k $30 (increases to $35 after Feb 28), 5k $35 (increases to $40 after Feb 28); prices increase by $5 on race morning. Charity beneficiary: Empowered Wellness Group.
