The Lost Valley Trail Race 2026
The Lost Valley Trail Race 2026 finishes at Dundas Valley Conservation Area and follows the Main Trail of the Bruce Trail, marked with white blazes. The event is a point to point trail race offered in two distances.

The 25 km course runs from Burlington along the Iroquoia Section of the Bruce Trail to Dundas. The 10 km course runs from the Rock Chapel Conservation Area to the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. Registration includes parking at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area and bus transport from the finish to the start. Registration is limited to 180 participants.
The 25 km course has approximately 600 m of elevation gain and 720 m of elevation loss and includes three aid stations at about 7.5 km, 15 km and 20 km. The 10 km course is about 75% trail and 25% road, with roughly 185 m of elevation gain and 265 m of elevation loss, and has one aid station near 5 km. Only the first and last 250 m and a 2.5 km road section will have additional markings; participants must be able to follow trail blazes.
The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Partners include La Sportiva, which will bring a demo shoe fleet and run shoe giveaways, and THN Labs, which will supply gels made from maple syrup, tahini, sea salt and rowanberry extract. The event is cup less; runners should bring a collapsible cup or bottle. Trekking poles are permitted.
Included in the race fee are a bus ride from the finish to the start, a pair of socks, neck gator, sticker, custom tiny bib, aid stations, a finisher medal and a CA$10 donation per registration to the Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
