Event Overview
The event, organized by Beard vs Beans, is described as a sibling rivalry fundraiser. Two brothers, Matthew (Beard) and Miguel (Beans), compete to raise the most money for the Alzheimer's Association of San Antonio and South Texas. All proceeds from the event benefit this cause.
Event Details
The main events are a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K. There is also a 0.5k Beer Fun Run and a Kids .5k Fun Run. A "Sleep-In Donation/Virtual" option is also available. Finishers of the 5K and 10K receive a medal and a shirt. Participants in the 0.5k Beer Run receive a beer mug, with an award for the winner. Kids in the .5k run receive a medal and a shirt. The event encourages team participation. The team with the most registered participants by June 1, 2026, earns a team flag.
