The Longest Day 5k/10k and Fun Runs
The Longest Day event is a fundraising running event organized by Beard vs Beans at Comanche Park, 2600 Rigsby, San Antonio, TX. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer Association of San Antonio and South Texas.
The event program includes several distance options and a virtual entry. Distances offered include:
- 10 km
- 5 km run/walk
- 0.5 km beer fun run (500 m) with beer mugs for participants
- Kids 0.5 km fun run
- Sleep-in donation virtual option with shirt and medal
Finishers in the 5 km and 10 km receive medals and a shirt. Participants in the 0.5 km beer fun run receive a beer mug and the top finishers with the most beer remaining in their mugs earn awards. Kids in the 0.5 km fun run receive a medal and shirt. Virtual participants who choose the sleep-in donation option receive a shirt and medal.
A team competition awards a team flag to the team with the most registered participants; the deadline for that recognition is June 1, 2026.
