Chaskis Run
Engineers Without Borders at UTSA, student chapter, and Texas Partners of the Americas present the Chaskis 5K Run/Walk on 11/21/2026 at 9606 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX. The event distance is 3.1 miles and is organized as a timed 5K run/walk.
Proceeds will be donated to Texas Partners of the Americas to support relief efforts in Vina Vieja, Peru and ongoing projects in Texas, Peru and Mexico. At the finish line, participants can meet llamas.
Registration fees follow a tiered schedule: Early Bird $30 until June 15, $35 starting June 16, $40 starting October 1, and $45 on race day. There are no refunds. Register by October 20 to guarantee a shirt size.
Chip timing is provided by IAAP. There are no finisher medals; awards are given to the first three in each 10 year age group (1-14, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) and to overall male and female winners plus male and female masters. Age group awards are based on chip time and overall awards are based on gun time. There is no duplication of awards. Packet pick-up is available on race day at the race site.
