THE LAP - Windermere Ultra Anticlockwise
THE LAP is a fully way marked 47 mile trail ultra circling Lake Windermere. The event is open to runners and walkers and allows 24 hours to complete the route. The location is listed as Low Cunsey Farm near Ambleside in Cumbria and the event dates are 12 to 13 September 2026.
The route runs mostly on tracks, trail and single track, with some steeper fell paths and occasional short sections of quiet country road. The course is described as a low level Lakes route that passes a range of viewpoints around the lake.

All finishers receive a meal regardless of finish time and a locally sourced finishers medal.
