Kirkby Moor Fell Race

The Kirkby Moor Fell Race is a local event set in the scenic Lake District, featuring a 12 km (7.5 miles) course over rolling moorland. It is designed to be accessible for beginners and road runners, although some sections may require navigation skills, especially in foggy conditions. Participants must carry full FRA kit, including waterproof clothing and navigation tools.

The race includes a competitive element with prizes such as the Bob Grieve Trophy for the fastest overall times across four original Black Combe races.
