The Lake Triathlon Series 2026
The Lake Triathlon Series 2026 is staged at The Lake, Cromhall Quarry in South Gloucestershire, just off Junction 14 of the M5. The series comprises five sprint-distance races held on the second Wednesday of each month, with dates on 13 May, 10 June, 8 July and 12 August, and a finale on Saturday 12 September 2026.
The event uses a standard sprint format with three race legs:
- Swim: 750m open water with full water safety support
- Bike: 18km road course on local roads
- Run: 5km road run finishing inside the quarry
Registration includes chip timing, podium medals, series points for each completed event, free swim hats, secure transition with numbered racking, professional first aid, toilets and changing rooms, public liability insurance, and a clean water swim site.
Each individual race awards prizes to the first male and the first female. The overall series champions for male and female categories are decided by a points-based system that rewards completion of multiple races.
Event logistics note that parking is provided in the bottom car park by the water. The venue combines an open water swim with road cycling and a quarry finish for the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
