The John Martins Foundation/RI Burn Foundation 3rd Annual 5k and 1k Race/Walk takes place on May 17, 2026, in Warwick, RI (185 Asylum Road, 02886). The event includes these distances:

Purpose and policies
The event raises funds for advanced laser equipment for the burn unit at Rhode Island Hospital. The equipment cost is stated as more than $250,000, and all funds raised will go toward this purchase. The 5k and 1k events are scheduled to occur rain or shine. Organizers state they cannot offer refunds for any reason.
