Bob Houghtaling 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The event offers two distances, a 5K and a 1 Mile fun run/walk, taking place on May 16, 2026, at Goddard Memorial State Park in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Both courses are set entirely within the park, with the start and finish located near the gazebo and the beach. The event is scheduled to occur rain or shine.
Registration fees are listed below:
- 5K: $35 regular; $40 race day
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: $20
One registration per participant is required. Participants who register for the 5K may take part in the 1 Mile event at no additional charge. Race t-shirts are offered separately for $20. Children under age 10 must participate with an accompanying parent or adult guardian.
Awards recognize the top three overall male and female finishers and the top male and female finisher in each age group. Winners must be present to receive awards.
