The James Gang 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser
The James Gang 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser is the third annual 5K road race and walk held on September 27, 2026 in Burlington, Massachusetts. The event starts and finishes at Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge Street, with parking available in the upper and lower school lots and restrooms accessible at the school.
The James Gang is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on pursuing opportunities for inclusion for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and on promoting awareness for NARS1 gene disorder.
Race features include professional chip timing by RaceWire, a USATF certified course, a water stop, cider donuts, free downloadable finish line photos, participant shirts (guaranteed for those who register by September 9; later shirts provided while supplies last), music at the finish, and prizes for the top three male and top three female finishers. Roads along the course will remain open; a police detail will assist at intersections and participants are asked to remain aware of traffic. Race packets can be picked up on race day at Burlington High School; details for early packet pickup are to be announced.
