The Itchen Valley Summer Challenge
The Itchen Valley Summer Challenge is a two-race summer series held at Itchen Valley Country Park in West End, Southampton SO30 3HQ, UK. The series comprises two separate evening events on 9 July and 20 August, each run as a distinct race with its own entry.
Each event follows the same race order: a junior 1 mile Dash followed by adult races for ages 15 and over. Distances offered include:
- Junior: 1 mile Dash
- Adult: 5 km
- Adult: 10 km
Race 1 is described as a Twilight Run and Race 2 as a SunSet Run. Entries can be purchased per race or as combined entries for both races; completing both races qualifies participants for an exclusive prize. Bibs are collected on the day and athletes must wear a racing bib to access the race; late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Additional ticket options include entries to a prize draw that offers a bundle of items such as a £50 sports voucher, starter packs, T shirts, and a family entry into a separate reindeer run.
