The Itchen Valley Summer Challenge
The Itchen Valley Summer Challenge is a two-race summer series held at Itchen Valley Country Park in West End, Southampton. Each race is run on a summer evening and the series includes separate events on 9 July and 20 August. Each event requires a separate entry.
Races at each event follow a set order starting with a junior 1 mile Dash, then adult races for ages 15 and over in two distances. The two event names are Race 1 - Twilight Run on 9 July and Race 2 - SunSet Run on 20 August; the second event is described as festival-inspired.
Ticketing includes single-race entries and combined entries for both races. Event information notes that runners must wear an official racing bib to take part. Participants who complete both races are eligible to receive an exclusive Challenge Finisher pin.
