Event overview
The Inferno 5k & 10k is a trail running event on August 29, 2026 at Dirt Farm Brewing, 18701 Foggy Bottom Rd, Bluemont, VA. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is available.

Registered runners receive a finisher medal, a technical (Dri-FIT) event shirt (sizes guaranteed for registrations completed before August 19), a chip-timed result, and a glass of beer from Dirt Farm Brewery.
Course and logistics
The course is a forest trail behind the brewery. The route is a loop used once for the 5k and twice for the 10k. The course is run in the reverse direction from the Trail Demon course and includes technical sections with tree roots and rocks and some elevation changes. The 10k has five water stations at about miles 0.6, 1.7, 3.1, 3.9, and 5.0; the 5k has two water stations at about miles 0.8 and 1.9. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located in the brewery.
Packet pickup is available at the event and there is race day registration; t-shirt sizes may not be guaranteed for race day registrants. Registration fees listed: 5k $35 until August 15 (then $40), 10k $50 until August 15 (then $55); prices increase by $5 on race morning. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories; top-three overall finishers are not eligible for age-group awards. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Parking is at Dirt Farm Brewing (lat/long 39.100491, -77.836529).
