The Independence 1 Mile Beer Run
The Independence 1 Mile Beer Run is a themed beer mile held at the Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina on June 28, 2026. The event is limited to 125 participants and is restricted to adults aged 21 and over. Entry includes a backyard party and an event T-shirt. The entry fee is $48.
The format follows a beer mile: the race distance is 1 mile composed of repeated laps of approximately 1/4 mile, with each beverage served in a 12 oz. portion. Prizes are awarded to the fastest male and female overall. A costume contest will judge the most creative American Independence themed outfits.
