The Heritage Challenge

The Heritage Challenge is a timed endurance event held on June 27, 2026 at Heritage Park in Adrian, Michigan. The event uses a looped 5K course which returns competitors to the start finish area each lap. The looped layout allows participants to complete as many laps as they can within the selected time.

Two timed race formats are offered:

3 hour timed race with a registration fee of $35
6 hour timed race with a registration fee of $55

Registration opens on 2026-03-26 and closes on 2026-05-07. Each lap passes the start finish area and a fully stocked aid station, and the course design keeps support within about 3 miles. The surface includes park trails, grass, and paved paths with minimal elevation changes. Personal gear access and aid are available at the central area.

Participants who complete at least one lap receive finisher recognition. Additional recognition is given for top mileage in each division. Event entries include a custom race bib and access to aid stations and facilities.
