The Greg Adams E-Race Stigma 5K
The Greg Adams E-Race Stigma 5K is an annual community race held in downtown Adrian, Michigan, with the start at the Adrian Farmers Market. The event includes a main 5k Run/Walk and a shortened Kids Dash; all Kids Dash participants receive a medal. Registrations made by May 1st are guaranteed a T-shirt in adult and youth sizes.
Entry fees are stated as $15 for the 5k and $5 for the Kids Dash, with a higher cash-only fee on race day. Scholarships are available through the event organizer. The race uses chip timing provided by the Michigan Running Foundation, and results are posted during the event on the race website.
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to the top three finishers in each male and female age group: 1-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 and over. Proceeds support health education programs in Lenawee County and aim to increase awareness of mental health and substance use issues with a focus on overall health and wellness.
