The Hateful 8 Ultra Loop

The Hateful 8 Ultra Loop is a looped trail event held on 20 March 2027 at Bridgend Miniature Railway in Aberkenfig, Bridgend, South Wales (CF32 9BZ). The course is described as a loop of approximately 8 to 9 miles that participants repeat as many times as they can within an eight hour time limit.

The format allows runners to aim for a marathon distance, extend into ultra distances, or target a personal distance goal. The event has an age minimum of 18 on the event date. The organiser keeps field sizes deliberately small to encourage a community-oriented atmosphere.

The route includes a steep hill, sections of forestry fire road with open views, and a flowing downhill forestry trail that can be technical underfoot.
