Event overview
This is a 7 hour Time Challenge taking place at Dare Valley Country Park in Wales on 30 May 2026. The event gives participants full control over the distance they run within the seven hour window, with a minimum official finishing distance of 3 km.
A full lap is approximately 7 km (about 4.37 miles) but the course may be adjusted for safety or conditions. To help younger runners comply with UK Athletics rules, there are 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap. Age and distance rules apply: minimum age 12 years; runners over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km. The event limits entries to 300 and entries close on 29 May 2026.

Course and facilities
The route uses well maintained footpaths around the country park and offers views of the surrounding countryside. The surface is suitable for a road trainer and is described as a flat trail. Medals are awarded to all finishers who complete at least 3 km, and distance pins are available for half marathon and longer distances. Finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan option available. An aid and drinks table is provided at the start/finish of each lap with assorted snacks and vegan choices. Basic facilities include toilets and a nearby cafe; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Free car parking is available. A bag drop is provided but is not secure.
