SATURN TOO - Rocky at 50 Run - Wales
This is a seven hour timed running event held on 30 May 2026 at Dare Valley Country Park in Wales. The event uses a lap-based course on well maintained footpaths around the park, offering views of the surrounding countryside. The regular lap measures 4.37 miles (about 7 km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions or a health and safety review.
The event sets a minimum distance of 3 km and includes defined 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap to meet UK Athletics age rules. A standard lap layout equates to three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon, and seven or more for an ultra. A 50 km option is also listed.
Support and facilities at the venue include an aid table and drinks at the start / finish of each lap with savoury and sweet snacks and vegan options, toilets, a cafe by race headquarters, free parking, and a non-secure bag area. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted on course.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins and goody bags are provided for qualifying distances. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited and entry is limited to 300 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
