Route and logistics
The race starts in Kingston upon Hull, follows the Transpennine Trail to the Wolds Way near the Humber Bridge at Hessle, then runs the Yorkshire Wolds Way for about 79 miles to Filey Brigg. The second part follows the full Hardmoors 110 / Cleveland Way route along the Cleveland coast through Scarborough, Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn, then across the Cleveland Hills and North York Moors to finish in Helmsley.
Multiple staffed checkpoints provide water and basic food along the route; hot drinks and hot food are available at selected checkpoints including Millington, Ganton (TBC), Ravenscar and Kildale and at the finish. All competitors must have motorised support teams; support crews are prohibited at some checkpoints and one support runner is allowed only on defined sections. A detailed mandatory kit list is enforced and will be checked before, during and after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
