The Hardmoors 110, 23 to 24 May 2026
The Hardmoors 110 is a single-stage trail ultramarathon covering 110 miles along the Cleveland Way National Trail. The route encircles the North York Moors and follows the Cleveland Heritage coastline. The race begins in Filey and finishes in the market town of Helmsley. Competitors have a time limit of 36 hours to complete the course.
The route passes coastal and moorland locations including Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn, then crosses the Cleveland Hills and the North York Moors before the finish. The event uses a pre-entry system; entries opened on 6 July 2025 and close on 24 April 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date.
Entry options listed include solo and relay categories with published fees. A coach transfer from Helmsley Market Square to Filey is available for a fee. Registration for the event takes place at Filey Brigg cafe on the event day. The event offers an optional XCover purchase which may allow a refund in certain unforeseen circumstances.
