The Hardmoors 110

The Hardmoors 110 is an ultramarathon taking place on the 23rd and 24th of May 2026. It is a 110 mile single-stage trail race along the Cleveland Way National Trail. The route goes around the North York Moors and the Cleveland Heritage coastline.

The race starts in Filey at 8am. Runners have a 36-hour time limit to finish in Helmsley. The course passes coastal locations including Scarborough, Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Saltburn. It then goes through the Cleveland Hills and the North York Moors.

Registration is required on the morning of the race between 7:00 and 7:40 at the Filey Brigg cafe. An optional coach service is available for a fee of £25, transporting runners from Helmsley Market Square to the start in Filey; it leaves at 6am.

Solo entry costs £199, with a £2 discount for affiliated athletes. Relay team entry costs £250. The minimum age to participate is 18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
