Hardmoors 110 : 22 May 2027
The Hardmoors 110 is a single-stage trail ultramarathon held on Saturday 22 May 2027. The race covers approximately 110 miles along the Cleveland Way National Trail, encircling the North York Moors and following the Cleveland Heritage coastline, with cumulative ascent of about 5,000 m (16,500 ft). For 2027 the route runs from Helmsley to Filey.
Competitors have a total time limit of 36 hours to complete the course. The route passes through multiple staffed checkpoints, including Kildale, Saltburn, Runswick Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough, and two organiser drop-bag locations at Kildale (42 miles) and Ravenscar (88 miles). Trackers are included with entry and are issued at registration; a replacement tracker incurs a charge.
Entries are limited (solos 150; relay entries available for teams of 2 to 4 with a separate limit). The entry fee includes the compulsory tracker and a small donation to the Cleveland Way National Trail; refund and transfer rules apply and Refund Protect is offered as an optional extra.
Support runner rules permit one support runner at a time from Gribdale Gate to the finish; support runners may not carry the entrant’s kit. Dogs are not permitted.
