Sledmere Sunset Trail 10K
The Sledmere Sunset Trail 10K is a trail running event held on the grounds of Sledmere House. The main route winds through deep chalk valleys and secluded woodland paths, finishing on the wide sweeping lawns in front of the house. The setting is described as an evening family event with a warm summer atmosphere.
Race options at the event include:
- 10 km main trail race through chalk valleys and woodland
- 3.6 km Trail Taster shorter trail distance with separate registration
- Approx 500 m Fun Run for children aged 9 and under, mostly with a parent
Event services and rules include chip timing and a medal awarded to all finishers. The minimum age for the 10 km race is 15 years on race day. The main race does not accept entries on the day. Parking, refreshments and toilets are provided; there are no changing facilities listed. The childrens Fun Run accepts entries on the day and is free to enter.
