The Hapalua – Hawaii's Half Marathon
The Hapalua is a half marathon held in Waikiki, Honolulu. The event for 2027 is scheduled for April 11. The distance for the main race is 13.1 miles (21.1 km). The event is open to everybody and there is no time limit; finishers receive a medal and malasadas. The race is organised under the Honolulu Marathon Association.
The Hapalua is part of a program of events that includes the Hapalua IKI, the King’s Runner 10k and a Virtual Hapalua series, among others. Support activities and information pages noted by the organiser include an expo and packet pick up, a course description, traffic advisory details and options for transferring a race entry. There is also a Team Challenge offered for groups.
