The Grinch’s 2025 Stink, Stank, Stunk 5k is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Murray, KY (42071). The event features a 5K run/walk with start and finish at the CFSB Center on the Murray State University campus. The race raises funds for Towing for Toy's to provide gifts for local children. Awards will be given to age group winners in male and female divisions and to overall male and female winners. Additional awards include best dressed (costume) and highest fundraising individual. Age groups are 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
Logistics and race services
The course uses the same route as 2024. Restrooms will be available in the lower lobby A of the CFSB Center. Parking is available in the Murray State Football Parking Lot or the upper level parking lot at the CFSB Center. Packet pickup is available Friday, December 19 at Max’s 641 Towing, 516 S. 12th St from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, and on race morning from 7:00am to 7:45am. Registrations after Wednesday, December 10 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. The listed registration fee is $35 and the price increases after October 30, 2025.
