Event
The LBL Bridge to Bridge Trail Run takes place on October 18, 2025 in Hardin, KY (42048). The event is offered in multiple formats:
- 22K Trail Run - Individual
- 22K Trail Run - 2 Person Relay
- 22K Trail Run - 3 Person Relay
Registration is handled online through RunSignUp. The event is sanctioned and insured by USATF.
Course and logistics
The course starts on the Canton side of the Lake Barkley Bridge, crosses into the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area, follows the paved path along Highway 80, then connects with the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail. Runners remain on that trail until Fenton, then connect with the Kentucky Lake Bridge and finish just west of Kentucky Lake along Highway 80.
For the individual entry the course is described as a 13.6 mile route made up of an initial 3.6 mile paved section, about 8.2 miles of packed gravel woodland trail, and a final 1.8 mile paved section. The woodland trail includes moderate elevation changes.
Relay details:
- Two-person relay exchange at Golden Pond Visitor Center, about 7.4 miles from the start; second leg ~6.2 miles.
- Three-person relay segments: 3.6 miles (to Sunset Trailhead), 3.8 miles (to Golden Pond Visitor Center), and ~6.2 miles to the finish.
Dogs may run on leash; no awards are provided for pets and separate registration is not required. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Growing Wild in the Shoppes of Murray.
