Fighting Back Against Parkinson's 5K & Fun Run
This annual running event takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Murray State University with start and finish at the CFSB Center, 1401 Kentucky 121, Murray, KY 42071.
Race options include:
- 5K Run
- 1 mile Fun Run
- Virtual 5K Run
All proceeds from the event support Rock Steady Boxing 270, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides non-contact boxing training, education, and community support for people with Parkinson's disease. Funds help provide training, equipment, resources, and support for program participants.
The MSU HPE Club will host additional on-site activities, and the event schedule lists a pickleball activity among those offerings. Spectators are noted as part of the event environment.
Organizers have provided parking guidelines for race day. Parking is not permitted in the lot between the softball field and the CFSB Center or along the softball outfield fence. The circle drive in front of the CFSB Center lower lobby is reserved for late packet pick-up only. The upper CFSB Center lot is reserved for handicap parking. Other participants and spectators are asked to use the lot behind the CFSB Center or the lot behind Stewart Stadium and walk to the event area.
