Green Lantern
Green Lantern is a circular mixed terrain event around Exeter that follows the Green Circle route. It offers two course options:
- 14.2 miles circular Green Circle half marathon
- 9 miles Yellow Zone from Marsh Barton station bridge approximately
The 14.2 mile route follows the Green Circle around Exeter through wooded valleys, meadows, bicycle lanes and along the banks of the Exe. The route can be run in either direction; entrants must choose their direction on entry. At Mill On The Exe runners turn right or left and continue from there.
Both distances start together. The course surface is a mix of trails, meadows, playing fields and flatlands and passes Ludwell Valley, Hoopern Valley, Redhills and Mincing Lake Country Park. The total elevation gain is 313 metres.
Toilets are available at the start and finish, on Topsham Road and near Exwick cemetery. The event location is Quay Climbing Centre, Haven Banks, Exeter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
