Haytor Dartmoor Summer Series Maprun

The Haytor Dartmoor Summer Series Maprun is an orienteering event held on the open moorland of Dartmoor, featuring a generally runnable terrain with pits, rocks, and outcrops. It is the second race in a series of five summer MapRun events designed for experienced orienteers. Participants navigate courses using the MapRun 7 smartphone app, eliminating the need for physical flags.

Three courses are offered: an Orange course (3.8 km, 125m climb), a Short Technical Green course (4.7 km, 160m climb), and a Long Technical Blue course (7.2 km, 200m climb), none of which are recommended for novices.
