The Great Stew Chase - Lynn, Massachusetts
The Great Stew Chase is an annual 15 kilometer road race held in Lynn, Massachusetts and organized by the Wyoma Lions Club. The event began in 1975 and is identified as one of the oldest recurring 15K races in the United States. It has drawn over 200 participants in past editions.
Most participants run the full 15 kilometer course. The event also offers alternatives, including a separate start for slower runners and a two-person relay in which each runner covers half the distance. The race is commonly used by runners as part of preparation for the Boston Marathon.
Race timing is managed with the ChronoTrack System, which records individual finish times. Results from recent years are maintained and published for participant review.
