The Great Race Triathlon
The Great Race Triathlon takes place on July 4, 2026 in Saint Albans Bay, Vermont. It is a canoe triathlon and duathlon with a 45 year history. The event uses a combination of paddling, running, and cycling disciplines.
Events listed for the day include IRONPERSON, two to four person team canoe, two to four person team kayak, duathlon individual (run and bike only), two person team duathlon (run and bike only), and a kids run. Race packets should be picked up in advance at the Town Hall, 398 Georgia Shore Road, St. Albans Town, VT on July 1 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, July 2 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and July 3 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Participants traveling a long distance may pick up race packets on race day at the race location starting at 6:00 am.
