Overview
The Great Race is a canoe triathlon and duathlon event. It is described as a tradition 46 years in the making. The race takes place at 596 Lake Road in Saint Albans Bay, Vermont.
Events
The event features several categories for teams and individuals. Registration costs $35 per person. A lunch is included for participants.

- TWO - FOUR PERSON TEAM CANOE
- TWO - FOUR PERSON TEAM KAYAK (single kayaks only)
- TWO PERSON TEAM DUATHLON (run and bike only)
A free Kids Run is also held. For team categories with mixed ages, the team's average age is calculated, excluding the youth category.
Logistics
Race packets should be picked up in advance at the Town Hall on Georgia Shore Road in St. Albans Town on specific dates before the event. Participants traveling a long distance can pick up their packets at the race location on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
