Shamrock Shuffle - Plattsburgh
The Shamrock Shuffle is a community 5K road race held in Plattsburgh, NY on March 14, 2026. The event begins and finishes at Valcour Brewing Company and uses a two loop course designed to be flat and fast. One loop measures about 1.55 miles and is repeated to complete the full distance.
The published course route leaves the brewery, runs briefly west then south around the building, continues east onto Ohio Avenue, turns south at Nevada Avenue and proceeds to the southern end of the Terry Gordon Bike Path. Runners follow the bike path north through a tunnel, use a connector back to Ohio Avenue, reenter the brewery area through the Adirondack Coast Events arch, then repeat the same loop for the second circuit.
Awards are given to the top male and top female finishers and there is a prize for best costume. The first 50 finishers aged 21 and over receive a complimentary beer from Valcour Brewing Company. Net proceeds benefit The Foundation of CVPH and will be used to assist the Child Psychiatry Unit at UVM Health Network CVPH in Plattsburgh.
