Event Overview
The GMAA Sap Run is a 10K race on March 28, 2026. The course is certified and takes place on country roads in rural Westford, Vermont.
Course Details
The course is an out-and-back route on muddy and hilly country roads. It starts on Brookside Road in front of Westford Elementary School. The route heads south on Brookside Road and Pettingill Road, turns around at mile 3, and returns the same way, finishing in the school driveway.
Registration and Fees
- Pre-registration fee: $15
- Race day fee: $20
- GMAA members receive a $5 discount on either fee.
- Pre-registration is encouraged, with online registration closing on Friday at midnight.
- Race day registration is available from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. at Westford Elementary School.
- There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.
Participation and Rules
The event is open to all runners aged 12 and older. Runners under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race. GMAA rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or dog, and the use of headphones is strongly discouraged.
Facilities and Awards
Bathrooms are available at the venue, but there are no showers. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in the men’s, women’s, and non-binary categories, with additional prizes available through a random drawing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
