The Great Masked Pumpkin Race
The Great Masked Pumpkin Race is a fall trail event at Riverfront Park in Billings, MT (8001 S. Billings Blvd.) held on October 17, 2026. The event offers multiple short-distance courses that take place around the park and is limited to 350 participants.

- Just a Pumpkin for ages 0 to 5
Participants pick a pumpkin about a quarter mile from the finish and carry it to the end; each registered entry includes one pumpkin to keep. Strollers are allowed; large tires or a wagon are recommended. Dogs may attend but must be on a leash and their handlers are responsible for cleanup and behavior. The event is not timed. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best individual and family costumes. Weapons whether real or imitation are not permitted.
Registration fees vary by event type: standard distances have an entry fee, youth categories have a reduced fee, and a kids pumpkin option is available for a small fee. Children five and under may attend free without registration; a pumpkin is available for a fee. Registration details and packet pickup are managed on race day at Riverfront Park.
