The Great Masked Pumpkin Run
The Great Masked Pumpkin Run is a community run/walk held at Riverfront Park in Billings, Montana on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The event is limited to 350 participants and race day registrations are available if the event is not sold out. Packet pickup is held on race day at Riverfront Park, 8001 South Billings Blvd.
The event is presented in partnership with the Young Marines and their Drug Demand Reduction program. The race takes place just before Red Ribbon Week, a national anti-drug awareness observance held the last week of October that commemorates efforts against drug trafficking.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 1 Mile
- 2 Mile
- 3 Mile
Each registered participant selects one pumpkin located about a quarter mile from the finish, carries it back to the finish line, and keeps the pumpkin. The event includes costume awards for individuals and families and door prizes. Children age five and under may participate free of charge. One pumpkin is provided per registration.
