Winter Race Series in Billings
Catch Me if You Can! is a winter running series held in Billings, Montana, featuring four distinct events scheduled between December and April. This series utilizes a staggered start format designed to have all participants finish around the same time. Each runner begins the race based on their individual pace, with the fastest participants starting last and attempting to overtake others before reaching the finish line.
The series consists of the following distances and locations:
- 4K: An out and back course located at Riverfront Park.
- 5K: An out and back route on the path in both directions at High Sierra Park.
- 8K: An out and back course held at Zimmerman Park.
- 10K: An out and back course situated at Swords Park.
Post-race refreshments include hot drinks provided for participants. The events are organized as a club member series where registration for each specific race opens throughout the winter season.
