About the race
The Great eXcape is a fundraiser presented by The Exodus Group Foundation with both virtual and on site participation options. The event includes a virtual participation window from October 1 to October 31 and an on site 5K fun run on October 31, 2026 at Arabia Mountain in Atlanta, GA. The in-person location is listed as 3787 Klondike Rd, Stonecrest GA 30088. Entry fees are shown for the event formats: the virtual option is listed at $25 and the on site 5K is listed at $40.
Virtual participants may walk, run, or roll at their own pace during the October window; the on site offering is a 5K fun run at Arabia Mountain. Proceeds support people transitioning out of high-control religions and coercive environments. Funds raised are used for practical and emotional assistance including housing and relocation; basic resources such as food, clothing, and household essentials; birthday celebrations; outreach and community support including peer groups and workshops; coaching and personal growth programs; and transportation assistance like bus passes and gas cards. The event materials describe multiple sponsorship packages and donor benefits that provide visibility and participation options for supporters while directing resources to the foundation programs above.
