Race4Grace Atlanta : overview
Race4Grace Atlanta is a community road race held at Circle 75 Office Park near Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The event is described as inclusive of a wide range of participants, including runners, wheelchair users, hand cyclists, wheelchair assisted participants, baby joggers, and walkers. Participation is limited to 3,000 entrants.
Race day includes a post race music program and community gathering with food and fellowship, and the course connects directly to The Battery at Truist Park via a bridge. Organizers note substantial on site parking, with more than 3,000 parking spaces available beneath the Start/Finish area.
The race supports the mission of the Bentley-Grace Foundation, Inc. The foundation’s stated priorities include championing inclusion for people with disabilities, creating opportunities through adaptive athletics, supporting families facing similar challenges, and promoting a mindset of possibility. The event also offers a range of sponsorship levels with benefits such as recognition on event materials and complementary registrations for sponsors.
Logistics such as registration opening and fee structures are set for the event year. The race takes place in late November and is part of a broader Race4Grace Across America initiative that aims to expand similar events to other cities.
