The Great Candy Run in Denver
The Great Candy Run takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Washington Park in Denver. The event is a candy themed community 5K that has run for more than two decades and benefits the Fetal Health Foundation.
The event features colorful costumes, music and on-course entertainment, an area with sweet treats at the finish, a finisher medal and an event shirt. A costume contest is part of the morning and volunteers support race operations and hospitality. A separate kids fun run is offered for the youngest participants and is provided free for ages 6 and under.
The event also includes the Jolly Rancher Challenge, which invites participants to share a sweet story by November 21 for a chance to win prizes. Organizers note that proceeds from registrations support families served by the Fetal Health Foundation.
