The Great American 5k
The Great American 5K is an inaugural road race held on July 4, 2026, in Linn Creek, Missouri. The event takes place at the Linn Creek Industrial Park, located at 828 Business Park Road, Linn Creek, MO 65052. It is scheduled to coincide with the United States semiquincentennial.

Registration for the general 5k opens November 29, 2025, and registration for the Military and Veterans division opens March 25, 2026. Both divisions close registration on May 26, 2026. Published entry fees are $35.00 for the general 5k and $28.00 for the Military and Veterans division, which reflects a 20 percent reduced price for eligible participants. Registration before June 16 guarantees a t-shirt.
Race amenities and results include commemorative shirts, finishers medals for all participants, and age group awards presented to the top finisher in each division. Proceeds benefit the Heroes Outreach Program, a nonprofit focused on preventing suicide among military veterans and first responders by reducing isolation and restoring peer connections. The program organizes weekly informal meetups called Gatherings at local cafes or diners and aims to place a Gathering location within 20 miles of every veteran and first responder.
