2025 LOTO Turkey Trot 5k
The Lake of the Ozarks Turkey Trot takes place at Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri. The 2026 edition marks the 17th year of this Thanksgiving morning event. Organized by FundRuns, the race serves as a fundraiser where all profits are donated to the Share the Harvest food pantry and the Camdenton Cross Country team.
Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 3.1 Miles (5k)
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The 3.1 Miles event includes competitive divisions for various age groups. Overall male and female winners are awarded a plaque and a cash prize. Age group awards are provided for men and women in categories ranging from 15-19 up to 70 and older. For participants aged 14 and under, medals are awarded to the top finishers in specific age brackets. Finish times for the event are recorded based on gun time.
The 1 Mile Fun Run is an untimed event designed for both children and adults. While there are no competitive awards for this distance, all individuals who complete the course receive a finisher's item.
Registration is available online or in person on the morning of the event. Packet pickup is held at the high school on race morning, with an additional pickup session scheduled for the preceding Wednesday evening at a location within the local area.
