Lake of the Ozarks Turkey Trot 5K
The Lake of the Ozarks Turkey Trot 5K is held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri. The 2026 event will be the 17th year for this race and attracts many families.
The race program includes these distances:
- One mile fun run
- 5k run
The one mile fun run is offered for children and adults who prefer a shorter course. There are no awards for the fun run; participants who complete the event receive a finishers item.
The event is hosted by FundRuns. All profits go to Share the Harvest food pantry and the Camdenton Cross Country team.
Packet pickup is scheduled for a Wednesday evening at a location to be announced, and there will be race morning packet pickup at the high school. On-site registration will also be available at those times for additional participants.
Awards and timing information are published for the 5k. Overall male and female winners receive a plaque and a cash prize. Men’s and women’s division awards are given in these age groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. Boys and girls receive medals in the 10 and under and 11-14 groups.
