Lake of the Ozarks Endurance Runs - May 2, 2026
The event takes place at Public Beach #1 in Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Missouri. It comprises three separate races over natural trails and lake terrain, with a shared start and finish location and a post-race festival featuring food, drink, music, awards, and vendors.
Distances offered:
- Wandering Bobcat - approximately 5.5 miles with about 700 feet of elevation gain.
- Trail of Four Winds 25K - a heavy 25K with 1600 plus feet of elevation gain on mixed trail.
- LOZ Traverse - approximately 32 miles of running plus 3 miles of paddling, combining trail and lake crossings.
Course and support details: the Trail of Four Winds passes rock outcrops, overlooks, seasonal streams, roots, loose rocks, slick surfaces, creek crossings, and steep grades of 10 percent or more. The LOZ Traverse begins on the Four Winds course, includes two paddle crossings to the Honey Run side, about 13 miles of single track on Honey Run, and returns to the finish. Competitors must provide their own kayaks, canoes, or stand up paddle boards and wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket. Aid stations are located at multiple mile points and a drop bag location is available at the start/finish for the LOZ Traverse.
Awards and services: each race awards finisher items and overall top three male and female awards; recipients must be present to accept awards. Every runner receives a swag item and event photographs are posted and provided free of charge. Registrations made within three weeks of the event cannot be guaranteed swag, finisher awards, or beverage tickets. Ha Ha Racing Events does not issue refunds.
