The Good Shepherd 5K - Edinburg
The Good Shepherd 5K is an evening community running event held on October 3 in Edinburg, Texas, at 714 S Raul Longoria Rd. The program combines running with a praise and worship gathering that follows the race.
The event features two distances and associated entry fees:
- 5K - 3.1 Miles, chip timed, registration fee $30
- Kids 1K - medal only, registration fee $10
Participants receive a custom finisher medal, a custom event bib, and are eligible for age group awards. A T-shirt giveaway is available for registrations completed by September 3. Age group awards are offered in these categories: 9 and under, 10-15, 16-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Packets not picked up by race day are forfeited unless registered virtually.
