The George and Dragon 20 mile and 10 mile
The event comprises road races of 20 mile and 10 mile around Lancaster and the surrounding district. The start and finish are at the George and Dragon, postcode LA1 1RB, on 29th August 2027. The course uses a network of local paths and is described by the organisers as flat and fast. The 20 mile race is two laps of the 10 mile course.
- 20 mile: medal and t-shirt to all finishers
- 10 mile: medal to all finishers
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and the first three female finishers. Race results are published on ukroadraces.co.uk.
Entry options and fees are listed by the organisers. Online entry fees include different rates for affiliated club athletes, unaffiliated athletes, and Lancaster Runners Club members. There are separate on the day entry fees, paid in cash only. The organisers note that some online portals may add a small charge. The event operates a no refunds, swaps or deferrals policy.
