The Golden Ball 20 miles & Riverside 10 mile
The event offers two measured distances using the network of paths around Lancaster and the surrounding district, with start and finish at the Trimpell Club, LA4 4UP. The race holds UKA licence numbers 29123 and 28796 and takes place on 30 August 2026.

The course is described as flat and fast. Route maps are provided for each distance. All 20 mile finishers receive a medal and t-shirt; all 10 mile finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers.
Entry options and fees are published for online entry and for entries on the day. Online entry fees for the 20 mile are listed by category as affiliated club athletes £37, unaffiliated athletes £39 and Lancaster Runners Club £31. Online entry fees for the 10 mile are affiliated £24, unaffiliated £25 and Lancaster Runners Club £19. On the day entry is cash only, with higher fees for each category.
