Event overview
The Glasgow Winter Warmer Run offers three distances at Glasgow Green, Nelson's Column, G1 5DB on 8 February 2026. The event supports the charity Shelter; fundraising is optional and there is no minimum target. Entry fees shown are: Half Marathon £30, 10K £25, 5K £25. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2026 and online entries close on 27 January 2026. Race packs are collected at on-day registration. Events are chip timed using a chip-on-bib system and instant results are provided via the event timing partner.
Course and logistics
The course is mainly flat and on paths, with one short trail section. Distances and lap structure:
- 5k - one lap
- 10k - two laps
- Half Marathon - four laps plus an extra 1.1 km section
Buggies are permitted and the route is described as wheelchair friendly, with the trail section noted as an exception. The event hub will be based near the People's Palace due to park restrictions. Bag storage is available but limited; toilets will be located within the event hub. Car parking around Glasgow Green is strictly limited; train and underground stations are nearby. Participants receive a medal and there are trophies for winners. Results are posted via the event timing system and participants receive post-race email updates.
