The Gibbet Challenge : Inkpen, West Berkshire
The Gibbet Challenge is a ten kilometre race around Inkpen that takes place on 28 June 2026. The event starts and finishes at Inkpen Memorial Playing Fields and follows a multi‑terrain route that includes a climb to Walbury Hill and Combe Gibbet. The route mixes road and off-road sections and passes through countryside around Inkpen.
A children's race follows the main event and covers approximately one kilometre. Proceeds from the event support Inkpen sports clubs.
Volunteers assist with organisation and marshalling and spectators line parts of the course. Results from previous editions are published after the race.
