The New Gemini 100
The New Gemini 100 is a multi-distance endurance event held on November 28, 2026, on the Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna, Georgia. The course is a paved out-and-back with orange markers; the out route is five miles and the return is five miles, creating a marked ten-mile round trip. The trail is a no-litter zone and will not be lit during evening hours, so participants are required to bring a headlamp for unlit sections.
Two aid stations are located on course: at the start line and at the halfway point. Both stations provide hydration and energy supplies. Participants with specific dietary restrictions can notify the race director in advance so accommodations can be considered.
Prizes include a customized brass buckle for the 100-mile finish, and awards for finishers of fifty miles and shorter distances. All entrants receive race swag. Proceeds will be donated to homeless community support efforts in the city; organizers will also accept donations of socks, underwear, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other essentials.
Camping and overnight vehicles are permitted, but no electrical outlets are available for campers, vans, or RVs. Volunteers who complete a full eight-hour shift receive current-year race swag and free entry to the following year's event. There are no refunds, though transfers to other distances are allowed.
