Early Bird Turkey Trot Half Marathon
The Early Bird Turkey Trot takes place on November 21, 2026, in the Marietta/Kennesaw area. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and is electronically timed. A registration deadline for a guaranteed shirt is November 5.
The course is a 3.1-mile 5K loop used to create multiple distances. The layout allows spectators to see runners multiple times, which increases visibility for sponsors. The organizers note the loop is fairly flat but that North Georgia terrain is not completely flat.
Entry details include a standard fee of $22 and a race day fee of $25 for those without a complimentary spot. Participants who finished any race with the organizer between December 1, 2025 and November 14, 2026 qualify for a free 5K entry in one in-person Turkey Trot race. Swag is available for purchase: shirts, hoodies, and finisher medals with listed prices that increase on race day.
The event supports community causes; the Georgia House Rabbit Society is listed as the 2025 charity partner. Results for virtual participants can be submitted online and posted after the event date. The event typically attracts a crowd of over 1,000 athletes and spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
