Early Bird Turkey Trot
The Early Bird Turkey Trot is a pre-Thanksgiving running event held in Kennesaw, Georgia. This event serves as an early iteration of the annual holiday tradition, taking place on the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving week. The race base is located at 200 Chastain Meadows Ct, providing an opportunity for participants to take part in an organized run before the holiday festivities.
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
A special incentive is offered to individuals who have participated in a previous event organized by this series between December 1, 2025, and November 14, 2026. Those who meet this criteria are eligible for a complimentary entry into the race, subject to verification. General registration is also available for those who have not raced with the organizer during the current year.
In addition to the in-person races, virtual options are available for all distances. The virtual events allow participants to complete their chosen distance at any location. Event-specific merchandise, including shirts, hoodies, and finisher medals, is available for purchase separately from the registration fee.
